Congresshall Heidelberg
From 24th to 26th September 2018 all lectures of the Final Conference - of the SFB 716 and its subprojects as well as those of the external speakers and the poster session - take place at the Congresshall Heidelberg in the town centre of Heidelberg.
Arrival for Members of the SFB 716
For the members of the SFB 716 there is a shuttle bus for the ride to Heidelberg on Monday, 24th September 2018. The departure is at 9:15 am at the bus loop (Universitätsstraße 34) at Campus.Guest on Campus Vaihingen. The voyage back starts on Wednesday, 26th September 2018, at 13:00 pm at the Congress Hall with a planned arrival at Stuttgart, Universitätsstraße 34, at 15:00 pm.

Arrival for external speakers
Here you find the arrival to the Congress Hall Heidelberg, which is located directly at the shore of the Neckar in the town centre of Heidelberg, by different means of transportations as well as the on-site parking.

Public transportation: Heidelberg is connected via the IC/EC net of the German Railways and the transport association Rhein-Neckar (www.vrn.de). The bus lines 31, 32 and 35 bring you from the main station Heidelberg within 15 minutes to the bus stop "Kongresshaus" (Congress Hall, about 2,5 km distance). With the car the Congress Hall is accessible via the autoroute A5/A656 (Darmstadt-Karlsruhe-Basel), exit "Kreuz Heidelberg" or "Heidelberg-Schwetzingen" and the traffic control system. |
On-site Parking: In P8 "Kongresshaus" with direct access (300 parking positions), Untere Neckarstraße 44, 69117 Heidelberg or in P6 "Kraus" (200 paking positions), Untere Neckarstraße 2, 69117 Heidelberg (www.heidelberg.de/parking).
House of Astronomy
The astrodome movie of the exhibition "In the digital laboratory" is shown in the House of Astronomy on Tuesday, 25th September 2018, at 18:00 pm. There is a shuttle bus from the Congress Hall Heidelberg, which brings the participants of the conference directly to the House of Astronomy. The departure time is 17:30 pm in front of the Congress Hall. The shuttle drives back at 19:15 pm at the House of Astronomy and carries all participantst in time to the conference dinner, which starts at 19:30 pm, in the Vetter's Alt Brewhouse in the town centre of Heidelberg.
