The SFB 716 is organising the minisymposium “Pore-scale Modeling and Experiments on Multiphase Flow in Porous Media” at the 9th International Conference on Porous Media (InterPore 2017, www.interpore.org) in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The conference will be held in May 8-11, 2017 at the De Doelen International Congress Centre.

Contents of the minisymposium include direct numeric simulations on the pore-scale, pore network modeling, microfluidic experiments, and non-invasive observations of multiphase flow in porous media. There are no restrictions to numerical methods. A keynote will be given by Prof. Ivan Lunati from the University of Lausanne on his recent research.

Abstracts for oral and/or poster presentations can be submitted until November 14th, 2016 on the conference website.
